I finished reading the preceding articles and I it is my opinion (also, in addition to the opinion of smeggle) that SEO is really over-hyped. Sure it's a good thing to optimize your websites' chances of being seen by robots/spiders/crawlers, etc. but it seems rather unnecessary to plunk down a bunch of cash for it. Just make sure your title, keywords and description are tailored for your content. Building real, meaningful links between your site and others can also help, as well as 'free' search engine submissions, and a little bit of patience.
